Austin's Lakes, Springs, And Bridges Tour

If being around water puts you at ease, then this is the tour for you! Our Lakes, Springs, and Bridges Tour will take you through Austin's most famous watering holes, and in Spring and Summer you can even go for a swim in some of them to cool off after the bike ride!

Presently for our Winter Season we are offering this tour at 2pm, Friday-Monday. If you need a custom tour time or day, please contact us and we will try to make that happen.  The tour runs about 2 hours and it $49 per person. Book online or by phone. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.

This tour gives you a chance to ride the shaded Butler Trail around beautiful Lady Bird Lake,  named for former first lady, Ladybird Johnson, a native Texan. Along the way, you'll stop  to talk about Austin's historical beginnings as Waterloo to our present day boom as a hub for startups, technology, and much more. We'll swing by the Congress Street bridge which houses the largest urban bat population in the world. In the Spring and Summer, you can take a dip, soak your feet or just enjoy the natural beauty from the banks when we visit the world famous Barton Springs. This spring-fed pool maintains a temperature of around 68 °F through both the winter and summer, so it is the perfect destination for any day of the year. If the Barton Springs is closed, we visit the oldest spring-fed pool in Texas, the Deep Eddy.

Presently this tour departs our shop Sunday, Monday and Thursday at noon and 3pm. On Friday and Saturday we offer this tour at Noon and 4:30pm. And on Tuesday and Wednesday it departs at 1pm. The tour runs about 2 hours and it is $54 per person during swimming season and $49 other seasons. Book online or by phone. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.

Online reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance and each tour requires a minimum of two participants. If it is less than 24 hours, or you are signing up for a single spot, no problem, give us a call at 512-233-6776 or drop us a line.
